As our new year gets underway I’ve noticed that emotions seem to be running very high with many people. It’s not surprising considering how polarized our nation is right now over political matters and social issues. Most of us have at least a few friends or family members with whom we disagree on these issues. Tensions are generally running high. We’re trying to figure out how to disagree and maintain relationships and work together in spite of our differences. This tension shows up in our personal lives, our social connections and sometimes with our customers and clients.
No matter what your business is you will find that sometimes you will deal with people who have emotional outbursts. This month our meeting will feature a talk on how to deal with situations with clients or customers who have emotional reactions. It’s part of life as a business owner.
