The end of the year is a challenging and wonderful time.
Balancing busy schedules of parties, events and fun with business and day-to-day responsibilities, it can be invigorating and occasionally stressful, but most of us enjoy this “crazy” time of year.
I hope that each one of you will take a moment to look back at 2017 and recognize your progress and accomplishments. Sometimes we forget to slow down for a moment to reflect, take stock, and appreciate our successes and what we’ve learned from our missteps. Taking the time for this reflection can be helpful in setting ourselves up for even greater success in the new year.
The year end is also a good time to express our gratitude. I’m so very grateful to each member of PWN. Some of you have been a part of this community for a decade or more, others have just joined in the last few months, but all of you add important value to our ever-changing and strengthening community.
I’m also very grateful for the members of the PWN board. This was a rebuilding year for our board and our organization and I’m so proud of the programs we’ve offered and the positive changes we’ve made. It’s been such an honor to be a part of the leadership of this powerful organization.
See you at lunch on December 1,
