How to Get Through to Men
Have you ever had a magnificent idea to incorporate in a project, and then have that idea thwarted by a man?
Have you ever felt dismissed when collaborating on a work project or in the strategic planning phases of something new?
Have you ever told a man something important like “the car needs to be picked up from Tony’s shop no later than 3p.m. tomorrow or we won’t have a car for the weekend” and he didn’t hear it at all? Even after an “Uh huh” came right out of his mouth?
Sometimes it’s challenging to get through to men. Learn what’s really going on by understanding the difference between single focus, diffuse awareness and how the need for transition time can impact your conversations and communication. Find out about the energy shift when a project is getting “underway”.
When you can see how differently men and women think, speak, listen, collaborate, and approach planning and implementation, you can knowingly commit to any journey and ambition in a partnership with men, and get more of what we need from them along the way.
