Linda Montgomery, CPA

PWN helps Linda find balance in her life. She enjoys interacting with women from other professions, and through the years of her membership, she’s found wonderful and resourceful women who help her with the art of living.

Linda says, “Janet Gallin wrote the 50th anniversary poem for my parents, Mimi Greene cleans my house, JR Nuerge decorated my office, Adrienne Keats designed my office stationery, Barbara Patinkin printed my step-daughter’s wedding invitations on a moment’s notice – the list goes on and on!” And of course, the expertise is mutual, as PWN enjoys Linda’s accounting expertise.

A native Calfornian, Linda Montgomery grew up in Southern California.  She lived in the Washington DC area from 1969-1973, completing college and teaching high school in Maryland.  She returned to the West Coast, Los Angeles in 1973 then the Bay Area in 1979.  Graduate school next, an MBA in Accounting from CSU Hayward in 1981 and an MBA in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 1984.  Ten years at large accounting firms, Arthur Young and Coopers & Lybrand.  She went into business on her own in 1991. She enjoys the freedom self-employment provides, as she only works with clients she likes, and new clients come primarily from referrals.
